Day-to-Day Responsibilities of a Linux Engineer Netherlands
In this role, you will work on a wide range of Linux engineering tasks, including:
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux servers (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS)
- Monitoring performance and resolving incidents efficiently
- Writing and maintaining scripts with Bash, Python, or Ansible
- Applying patches, managing permissions, and enforcing security hardening
- Supporting CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform)
- Managing networking components such as firewalls, DNS, VPN, and load balancers
