About the Role
This is a full-time hybrid role for a New Business Sales Executive. The successful candidate will be responsible for new business development, relationship building, lead generation, and following up on marketing-generated leads.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling enterprise software to energy retailers. They should also have a solid understanding of energy flexibility, Virtual Power Plants, and energy asset aggregation and optimisation.
Required Skills
- 5+ years in a business development role
- Strong new business development, sales, and commercial skills
- Relationship building and lead generation expertise
- Experience using MEDDPICC or a similar sales methodology to drive the sales process
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales activity and achieve targets
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of the energy industry and market trends preferred, but not essential
- Experience in B2B sales and account management
- CRM and Google Workspace proficiency
Compensation Package
- Uncapped bonus structure with a 50/50 split
