We are supporting a specialist technology consultancy that is hiring a CyberArk Engineer to design, build, secure, and manage automated infrastructure for enterprise customers across the Netherlands.
This role sits at the intersection of Linux engineering, cloud platforms, automation, Identity and Access Management, Privileged Access Management, and infrastructure security.
The opportunity is ideal for an engineer who understands that IAM and PAM are not add-ons, but core foundations of modern secure infrastructure.
CyberArk Engineer Role Overview
As a CyberArk Engineer, you will work across Linux, CyberArk, cloud, automation, DevOps, and security tooling to help enterprise customers secure access to critical infrastructure.
You will be responsible for implementing and managing PAM solutions, hardening Linux-based environments, integrating secure access controls into CI/CD workflows, and supporting secure infrastructure across on-premise and cloud platforms.
This role will suit someone who is comfortable working in technical customer environments and enjoys solving complex infrastructure security challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement, configure, and manage CyberArk and PAM solutions across enterprise customer environments.
- Engineer, secure, and harden Linux-based infrastructure across on-premise and cloud platforms.
- Integrate IAM and PAM controls into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
- Work across Azure, AWS, and Kubernetes environments to ensure secure access and privilege management.
- Use Ansible, GitLab, and GitOps practices to automate secure infrastructure delivery.
- Monitor, improve, and troubleshoot environments using Splunk and security tooling.
- Advise customers on best practice across privileged access, identity, cloud security, automation, and infrastructure protection.
- Work closely with Linux, cloud, DevOps, and security specialists on complex technical projects.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong Linux engineering experience, ideally within Red Hat-based environments.
- Hands-on experience with CyberArk implementation or other PAM platforms.
- Good understanding of Identity and Access Management principles.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
- Exposure to Azure, AWS, or Kubernetes environments.
- Automation experience with Ansible.
- Familiarity with Splunk or similar monitoring and security tooling.
- Professional Dutch and English language skills.
- Ability to work in customer-facing technical environments.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with GitLab, GitOps, infrastructure-as-code, or secure DevOps practices.
- Security certifications such as Security+, CISSP, RHCSA, or RHCE.
- Experience hardening cloud or hybrid infrastructure.
- Background in consultancy, managed services, or enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Knowledge of access governance, privileged account security, secrets management, and infrastructure compliance.
