We are supporting a leading technology consultancy that is hiring an experienced AI Architect candidate to design and deliver enterprise AI solutions across complex client environments.
This AI Architect role is ideal for someone with a strong background in solutions architecture, enterprise architecture, GenAI, LLMs, RAG systems, agentic AI, MLOps, cloud-native AI infrastructure, and production AI platforms.
The successful candidate will help clients move beyond AI prototypes by designing scalable, secure, governed, and production-ready AI architectures.
AI Architect Role Overview
As an AI Architect, you will be responsible for shaping the architecture of enterprise AI solutions from concept through to deployment. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, engineering teams, data teams, cloud specialists, and client leadership to define AI architecture patterns, delivery approaches, governance controls, and scalable implementation plans.
This role requires someone who can combine technical depth with architecture-level thinking. You should be confident designing AI platforms, RAG systems, LLM applications, multi-agent workflows, semantic retrieval solutions, and MLOps pipelines for regulated or enterprise-scale environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design enterprise AI architectures using GenAI, LLMs, RAG, agentic AI, vector databases, and cloud-native platforms.
- Define scalable architecture patterns for production AI applications.
- Lead solution design across semantic search, document intelligence, AI assistants, knowledge retrieval, workflow automation, and decision support systems.
- Build architecture approaches for retrieval orchestration, embeddings, reranking, grounding validation, observability, and evaluation frameworks.
- Work with engineering teams to support implementation across Python, APIs, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Terraform, cloud services, and AI infrastructure.
- Design AI governance, monitoring, testing, risk, security, and compliance controls.
- Support human-in-the-loop workflows, responsible AI controls, model evaluation, and operational readiness.
- Translate business requirements into practical AI solutions and implementation roadmaps.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders, architects, engineers, product teams, and delivery leads.
- Help move AI use cases from proof of concept into secure, reliable, production-ready systems.
Required Skills and Experience for this Role
- Strong experience as an AI Architect, Solutions Architect, Enterprise Architect, Senior AI Engineer, ML Architect, or Cloud AI Architect.
- Hands-on experience designing and delivering GenAI, LLM, RAG, agentic AI, or enterprise AI platforms.
- Strong understanding of RAG architecture, vector search, embeddings, chunking, reranking, retrieval validation, and semantic search.
- Experience with MLOps, AI observability, model evaluation, inference platforms, and production AI deployment.
- Knowledge of cloud-native AI infrastructure across Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD, APIs, Terraform, Docker, or scalable deployment environments.
- Ability to design secure, governed, and compliant AI solutions for enterprise or regulated environments.
- Strong stakeholder communication skills and the ability to work in client-facing delivery environments.
- Background in solution design, enterprise architecture, or technical consulting.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry, GPT-4, Claude, LLaMA, Hugging Face, MLflow, Airflow, KServe, FAISS, Chroma, or similar technologies.
- Experience designing multi-agent workflows and autonomous LLM integrations.
- Knowledge of AI governance, responsible AI, explainability, auditability, and compliance controls.
- Experience in financial services, banking, wealth management, aviation, telecoms, public sector, or other regulated industries.
- Experience with enterprise document intelligence, knowledge graph systems, forecasting platforms, threat intelligence, anomaly detection, or AI-assisted decision systems.
- Background in designing reusable AI reference architectures and platform patterns.
