We are supporting a leading technology consultancy that is hiring an experienced AI Delivery Lead candidate to drive enterprise AI transformation, GenAI adoption, and production AI delivery across complex client environments.
This AI Delivery Lead role is ideal for someone with strong experience leading AI programmes from strategy through to implementation, adoption, governance, and value realisation. The successful candidate will work closely with executive stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and business leaders to shape AI roadmaps and deliver scalable AI-enabled solutions.
AI Delivery Lead Role Overview
As an AI Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for leading the full AI delivery lifecycle across enterprise transformation programmes. This includes defining AI strategy, identifying high-value use cases, designing governance frameworks, overseeing implementation, and ensuring successful business adoption.
The role will suit someone who can combine strategic AI leadership with practical delivery experience across GenAI, LLMs, Agentic AI, RAG, enterprise automation, responsible AI, cloud platforms, and operating model transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise AI and GenAI delivery programmes from strategy to implementation.
- Define AI adoption roadmaps, business cases, delivery plans, and governance models.
- Identify and shape AI use cases across enterprise automation, predictive analytics, document intelligence, compliance monitoring, fraud detection, payments, lending, customer service, and workflow optimisation.
- Oversee the delivery of LLM, RAG, Agentic AI, Conversational AI, and multi-agent solutions.
- Lead vendor selection, programme mobilisation, stakeholder management, and delivery governance.
- Work with executive stakeholders to align AI initiatives with business outcomes.
- Establish responsible AI frameworks covering governance, explainability, auditability, risk, testing, monitoring, and compliance.
- Support AI-driven operating model transformation and enterprise process optimisation.
- Drive business adoption, change management, operational readiness, and value realisation.
- Ensure AI solutions are scalable, secure, compliant, and suitable for production environments.
Required Skills and Experience for this AI Delivery Lead Role
- Strong experience leading AI, GenAI, data, or digital transformation programmes in enterprise environments.
- Proven ability to manage the full AI lifecycle, from strategy and architecture through to delivery, adoption, and optimisation.
- Experience with LLMs, RAG, Agentic AI, Conversational AI, APIs, enterprise automation, and cloud-based AI solutions.
- Strong understanding of AI governance, responsible AI, risk management, compliance, explainability, and auditability.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders, executive teams, vendors, product teams, architects, engineers, and business users.
- Ability to translate business challenges into practical AI use cases and delivery roadmaps.
- Experience supporting AI adoption, change management, operating model design, and post-deployment optimisation.
- Strong communication, leadership, and consulting skills.
Desirable Skills
- Experience within banking, financial services, payments, lending, fraud detection, customer servicing, or regulated enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Copilot, SAP Joule, enterprise GenAI tools, or AI-enabled ERP automation.
- Experience designing AI governance frameworks for regulated or compliance-heavy organisations.
- Background in enterprise architecture, AI strategy, digital transformation, or technology consulting.
- Experience delivering AI platforms for knowledge management, automation, customer operations, or process transformation.
